I got a yeast infection out the clear blue. In the past, I’ve only gotten them after using antibiotics. This time, I was not taking antibiotics.

The only thing different that I have been doing lately is taking baths.

Now I am wondering if pregnancy is the cause of this yeast infection?

I am not having sex with anybody, last time I had sex with anybody was in June. I haven’t been on any antibiotics because I have no insurance to go to a doctor. It’s very itchy and red on the outside. The discharge I have is like a creamy white color and I have no odor down there. I have better days where it doesn’t bother me and then there are days where all I want to do is just itch. Not sure what other information to supply you with but I hope this helps you more.

I’ve had chronic sinus problems all my life and for the past 18 years have been on antibiotics at least twice a year!

They did take biopsies from both procedures (they were months ago) and nothing came back. Is it possible maybe they didn’t check for it?

I know that antibiotics can cause other problems and even lead to other infections like yeast infections afterwards- the doctor did not give me anything to take for yeast afterwards. I was wondering if anyone has taken treatment for bv and successfully avoideded a yeast infection afterwards or if i am doomed to have one.
